Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00am – 7:00pm shifts

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing required
  • Proven experience using Cerner electronic health record system is essential
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans for those requiring medical-surgical and telemetry services
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and promptly respond to changes in patient conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information, medications, and ongoing progress accurately within the Cerner system
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to best practices and protocols
  • Provide patient and family education regarding care plans, procedures, and post-discharge expectations
