Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with strong experience in both Med/Surg and Telemetry care for a contract role. This position is ideal for professionals committed to high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts
Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with a focus on both Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Proficient in Cerner electronic health record systems
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry settings
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in cardiac telemetry readings
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and ongoing care
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards
