Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and direct nursing interventions in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions, performing timely and accurate documentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families, offering education and compassionate support
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and nursing colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in alignment with facility guidelines and infection control practices
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of recent experience on a Medical-Surgical unit
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications preferred
