Deliver high-quality care as a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) unit, supporting a diverse patient population with acute and chronic health conditions. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and skilled RN committed to achieving positive patient outcomes and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
- Proficient in medication administration and patient monitoring
- Current BLS certification (Advanced certifications such as ACLS are an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule:
- Full-time contract position; specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with varying diagnoses
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
- Monitor and document vital signs, progress, and medication response
- Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety
