Registered Nurse Med Surg | Bismarck, North Dakota

Deliver high-quality care as a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) unit, supporting a diverse patient population with acute and chronic health conditions. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and skilled RN committed to achieving positive patient outcomes and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
• Proficient in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Current BLS certification (Advanced certifications such as ACLS are an asset)
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

• Full-time contract position; specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with varying diagnoses
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Monitor and document vital signs, progress, and medication response
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety
