Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Skill in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using EMR systems
  • Ability to handle fast-paced situations and prioritize multiple tasks

Schedule/Hours:

  • Schedule and shift information provided during the interview process

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the med-surg unit
  • Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and patients’ families
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate specialized medical equipment as directed
  • Conduct patient assessments and contribute to care planning and adjustments
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, post-hospital care, and preventive health strategies
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
