Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Blue Springs, MO

Provide specialized care as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse in a vibrant hospital setting, working 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) on a variable schedule. Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (submission required prior to start)
• Missouri RN license or Compact license
• ACLS certification preferred
• Willingness to float within Med-Surg units as needed (no Tele float required)
• Ability to work four weekend shifts every six-week schedule block
• Availability to assist on holidays as needed
• Commitment to attend mandatory orientation sessions scheduled in late April

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Deliver high-quality patient care to med-surgical patients following established nursing protocols
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to patient and family needs with professionalism and compassion
• Participate in required health screenings including occupational health appointment consisting of drug screening, TB test, and physical exam prior to starting
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards
