Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Bonaire, Georgia

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced registered nurse skilled in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings. In this contract role, you'll deliver exceptional patient care, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support positive patient outcomes within a dynamic acute care environment.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Proficiency in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Minimum of one year recent acute care experience in Med Surg or Telemetry
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital setting with diverse patient populations
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows with professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for Med Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vitals, cardiac rhythms, and clinical status, intervening as needed
• Administer medications and perform treatments following evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals to optimize care
• Educate patients and families on condition management, procedures, and care transitions
• Accurately document all care delivered using electronic medical records
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards at all times
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and escalate care when necessary
