Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Proven experience in medical-surgical (Med Surg) and telemetry units
  • Proficient with telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptability to fast-paced settings and diverse patient needs

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours; specific shifts may vary according to facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on med-surg and telemetry units
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly recognize/respond to any changes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and manage patient care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation in electronic medical records
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards throughout all care
