Take on a pivotal clinical role supporting a private 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Medical-Surgical unit, where you’ll care for an array of orthopedic, neuro, and overflow medical patients. Expand your skills by working with a multidisciplinary team and learning the nuances of telemetry and neuro assessment in a collaborative setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day or night shifts available
- Rotating shifts as needed: (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a for day rotators)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive assessments in a fast-paced med/surg environment
- Accurately read and interpret telemetry strips to monitor patient cardiac status
- Coordinate and document patient care utilizing EPIC (EMR)
- Respond to changes in patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Float to applicable units within the facility as requested
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- At least 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Proficiency in telemetry and neuro assessment
- Ability to read telemetry strips confidently
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
