Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Boston, MA

Take on a pivotal clinical role supporting a private 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Medical-Surgical unit, where you’ll care for an array of orthopedic, neuro, and overflow medical patients. Expand your skills by working with a multidisciplinary team and learning the nuances of telemetry and neuro assessment in a collaborative setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day or night shifts available
• Rotating shifts as needed: (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a for day rotators)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive assessments in a fast-paced med/surg environment
• Accurately read and interpret telemetry strips to monitor patient cardiac status
• Coordinate and document patient care utilizing EPIC (EMR)
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Float to applicable units within the facility as requested

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Proficiency in telemetry and neuro assessment
• Ability to read telemetry strips confidently
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
