Registered Nurse Med Surg | Bronson, Michigan

Deliver comprehensive patient care as an experienced Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical setting. This contract position calls for a knowledgeable RN who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional bedside care to a diverse patient population.

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit
• Proficient in current nursing practices and electronic health records
• BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with providers, patients, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on the Med-Surg floor
• Administer medications, treatments, and essential nursing interventions
• Monitor patient status and swiftly respond to emergent situations
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety regulations
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
