Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Bronson, MI

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to provide high-quality care to patients on a contract basis. Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• BLS certification required
• Familiarity with electronic health records and standard nursing documentation practices
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and multi-task efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with best practices and established protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, noting any changes and reporting to the physician or care team as needed
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
