Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Brooklet, GA

This contract opportunity calls for a skilled RN with a background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. The role requires adaptability, confidence in acute care, and the ability to seamlessly float between Med Surg and Telemetry departments to meet evolving patient needs.

Schedule:

• 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, day shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• Schedule may vary according to department demand

Qualifications:

• Active RN license is required
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an acute care setting
• At least 2 completed travel assignments essential
• Current BLS certification
• Proficient with Cerner electronic charting
• Familiarity with managing Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Flexibility to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to a diverse Med Surg and Telemetry population
• Accurately document patient information and care interventions in Cerner
• Respond to changing patient acuity, including remote telemetry
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members across departments
• Support patient safety and drive high standards of care
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment—especially during holidays and high-volume periods
