The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with possibilities for assignment to various units, including equal or lower acuity areas and an occasional need to float to a lockdown unit.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Evening-to-morning shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN
  • Active Michigan RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred: Experience or exposure to telemetry
  • Willingness and flexibility to float to different units, including lockdown when requested

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit, following established care plans and protocols
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status, utilizing strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Support a collaborative, safe care environment by assisting colleagues and adapting to various unit needs when requested

$1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
