  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg/MS) nursing
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population on a medical-surgical unit
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
  • Accurately document patient information and clinical interventions using electronic medical records
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, support staff, patients, and families regarding care and treatment plans
  • Participate actively in patient education and discharge planning
  • Uphold protocols for infection control, patient safety, and quality standards

Schedule:

  • Contract position with potential for variable shifts; flexibility to work days, evenings, or nights may be needed
