Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Byron, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license
• Demonstrated experience in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) nursing
• Proficiency in Telemetry monitoring and care protocols
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage high-acuity patients and adapt to a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and patient-centered care
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient status
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications, document care accurately, and advocate for patient needs
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, discharge instructions, and disease management
• Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and quality protocols
