Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Cache, Oklahoma

Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized patient care plans in a clinical setting. Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to uphold professional nursing standards. Deliver care to a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Flexibility to float between Med-Surg units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and document accordingly.
• Perform clinical procedures such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjust and operate specialized medical equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals and promptly report any adverse reactions to medications.
• Work a 7p-7a shift, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5.
• Maintain effective communication and leadership within the patient care team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Current RN licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to float to other Med-Surg units as required.
