Key Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license (State of NJ or compact eligible)
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC required)
• Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities
• Adaptability and excellent communication skills
• Ability to quickly acclimate to new hospital systems and electronic medical records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patients’ progress and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and perform critical procedures within RN scope
• Collaborate closely with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and patients’ families
• Educate patients regarding post-discharge care and promote recovery
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies
• Function as an integral team member, upholding facility standards and supporting patient outcomes
