Registered Nurse Med Surg | Cedar Hill, Tennessee

Deliver specialized care while expanding your skills in a med/surg float pool environment supporting adult patients. This contract role offers the opportunity to make an impact across multiple units and requires experienced travel nurses ready for dynamic assignments.

Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
• Flexible scheduling required to meet varying unit needs (no block schedule)
• Must be willing to work weekends as scheduled
• Orientation dates: 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 (no orientation on 9/7)
• No time off approved from 9/19-10/17

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state required at the time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent med/surg nursing experience
• Proven prior travel nursing experience
• Ability to float within 5 med/surg units and to ER as needed
• Experience with Cerner EMR platform a plus
• Comfortable working with patient ratios of 1:1-6
• Scrubs: Navy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to adults (ages 18+) on a general medical-surgical unit
• Adapt to the needs of different units and support team coverage as assigned
• Respond flexibly to last-minute staffing adjustments per unit scheduling requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide high-quality patient care, even in high-acuity situations
• Follow facility protocols and participate in a culture of safety and respect

$1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
