Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Relevant experience in medical-surgical (MS) nursing
- Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement appropriate patient care plans for MS patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient progress, documenting changes and responding promptly to clinical concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure top-tier patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care procedures and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment following infection control standards
