As a Registered Nurse with Med/Tele expertise, your professional journey will thrive with exposure to a broad patient population within a well-established hospital designated as a Chest Pain and Stroke Center. You’ll collaborate with supportive multidisciplinary teams and adapt to leading-edge hospital practices, all while expanding your resume by caring for post-surgical and general medical telemetry patients. Floating to various units and facilities enables unparalleled skill advancement, adaptability, and the opportunity to interact with different leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours

  • Rotating weekends: every other
  • No call requirements
  • 75% of holidays
  • Flexible scheduling cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Up to 6 days off approved (excluding holidays; additional time added to contract if needed)

Desired Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficiency in: stroke clinical care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, IV starts, NGT placement, chest tube management, and managing medication drips and blood products
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Adaptability to float across regions/facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to adult surgical and medical telemetry patients
  • Manage post-op patients including bariatric and urologic surgeries
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and patient education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CNAs, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists
  • Float between various hospital units within the region as required
