This travel assignment offers professional enrichment by engaging with a newly established, supportive MedSurg/Tele unit known for its collaborative atmosphere and commitment to psychological safety. Work alongside experienced clinicians, gain exposure to diverse workplace methods, and expand your resume with advanced patient care responsibilities, such as managing a wide array of medical conditions and adapting to evolving unit populations, including hematology/oncology care starting in 2026.
Schedule & Hours:
- Multiple shift options available (specifics provided upon interview)
- Shifts may involve floating to regional partner facilities, always within scope of practice—travel time between locations is paid
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with at least 18 months of Med/Surg and Telemetry RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; ONS preferred, not mandatory
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and non-titrating cardiac drip experience (Cardizem/Amiodarone preferred)
- Proficiency initiating IVs, providing wound care, and managing medical/surgical patients
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to a range of patients: ESRD, CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, wounds, etc.
- Skillfully interpret cardiac rhythms and administer drips with oversight as needed
- Efficiently manage admissions, discharges, and collaborate with CNAs, CN Specialists, case managers, and a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible floating between units to meet patient needs, always with comprehensive support
