Schedule:
- Rotating weekends (every other)
- No on-call shifts
- Shifts: 0645–1915 or 1845–0715 (12-hour)
- Holiday commitment: 75% of holidays
- RTO (up to 6 days off, excluding holidays)
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license and BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Strong proficiency with PIV starts, NG tube placement/management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and surgical drain care
- Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem), TR bands
- Comfort with patient ratios 1:4–6, up to 1:7–8 during surges
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical/telemetry patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, chest pain, COPD, and post-cardiac cath
- Collaborate closely with CNAs, resource, and charge nurses to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors effectively
- Float across multiple regional facilities, adapting to patient needs and maintaining excellent care standards
