Schedule & Hours
- Rotating shifts: 6:50 AM – 7:10 PM and 6:50 PM – 7:10 AM
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: 75% of holidays during assignment
- Request up to 6 days off, excluding holidays (must be appended if not met during contract)
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a full spectrum of Med/Tele patients (average census: 8; ratios: 1:5)
- Implement cardiac drips, heparin infusions, blood product administration, and IV fluid management
- Skillfully interpret cardiac rhythms; manage trachs, chest tubes, NGTs, drains, and PCA pumps
- Maintain IV access and contribute to phlebotomy as part of department teamwork
- Float to other regional facilities as needed, gaining valuable multi-site experience
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell
- Confident in stroke care, advanced cardiac monitoring, and complex device management
