You’ll gain exposure to a diverse patient population, including surgical, oncological, and neuro-surgical recovery cases, while collaborating with a dedicated team in a Level 2 Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center. Experience multiple workplace practices and refine your adaptability through unit floating, enhancing your clinical skills and broadening your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be indicated on submission)
- 13-week assignment
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care with ancillary teams
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations
- Provide professional oversight of other caregivers
- Adapt to varying physical demands and high-risk exposure scenarios
- Float to units as determined by facility needs
Qualifications:
- Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligibility for licensure
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- 1+ year current, inpatient Med Surg nursing experience
- ACLS (AHA) and TNCC preferred
- Adaptable, patient-focused, and team-oriented; committed to excellence
- Black scrubs required per dress code
