Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least one year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Proficient with electronic health records and patient documentation
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse group of patients on a Medical-Surgical unit
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
• Administer medications, treatments, and coordinate care based on individual patient plans
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, post-discharge care, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
