Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift, 12 hours
- Rotating weekends (every other weekend)
- Floating to like units as needed
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Orientation: 24-32 hours (16 hours non-clinical orientation)
Desired Experience and Licensure:
- Minimum 2 years of Stroke/Neuro experience (3 years preferred)
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass EKG test (all to be presented at submission)
- Comfortable floating to compatible units
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse med-surg/telemetry population
- Skillfully assess, monitor, and support neuro/stroke patients
- Document and report patient status changes clearly and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
