Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Cicero, Illinois

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures as needed
• Operate and monitor relevant medical equipment, ensuring safety standards are met
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses within electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and wellness strategies
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
• Comply with all regulatory and organizational protocols to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced situations
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) preferred
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
