Desired Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- BLS certification (required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Monitor, interpret, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Administer medications, therapies, and IVs as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health personnel to coordinate patient care
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure patient safety throughout care delivery
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning
