Schedule/Hours

• Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure, and eligibility to practice in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of stroke/neuro nursing experience (required)
• 3 years of related experience (preferred)
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Passing EKG test at time of submission
• Ability to float to similar units as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse med-surg/telemetry patient population
• Monitor and interpret EKGs, respond to strokes and neurological changes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, adaptable, and learning-focused culture
• Flexibly float to similar units and adapt to evolving care needs
