Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of New York (or compact eligible)
• At least 1 year recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IVs, and perform necessary procedures safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and post-discharge needs
• Ensure compliance with all patient safety and infection control standards
