Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Cincinnati, OH

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and deliver ongoing evaluation of patient status
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, treatment plans, and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocols and best practices

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
