This contract role places you at the heart of a high-acuity environment, with opportunities to float between five Med/Surg units and support the ER as needed.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
- Flexible scheduling—no block schedules; adaptability required to meet unit needs
- Required weekends
- Orientation dates: 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 (no orientation on 9/7)
- No approved time off between 9/19-10/17 (critical for Epic Go Live event)
Required Qualifications:
- Active TN RN license or compact license on submission
- Minimum of 2 years’ Med/Surg RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Valid BLS certification
- Flexibility for scheduling and unit assignments
- Comfortable floating between Med/Surg units and to the ER
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Navy scrubs required
- Patient population: Adults (18+), general Med/Surg
- Able to manage patient ratios from 1:1 to 1:6
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care across multiple Med/Surg units
- Assess, monitor, and record patient conditions and progress
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Adapt quickly to various unit protocols and patient needs
- Support onboarding initiatives, particularly during critical Epic Go Live period
- Adhere strictly to facility standards, including dress code and documentation

$1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
