Medical-Surgical RN in Cleveland, TN

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to join a well-established 30-bed acute care unit specializing in comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care on a med-surg unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform advanced clinical skills including IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Utilize medical equipment such as wound vacuums, heparin drips, iv pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, feeding pumps, and telemetry monitors
• Document patient care accurately in the Editech system
• Participate in floating between designated units as needed to support patient care demands
• Maintain a positive attitude to enhance patient and family experience; address concerns promptly and professionally
• Adhere to unit protocols and dress code, wearing navy scrubs to maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Current RN licensure with strong med-surg background
• Proficiency with IV starts, NGT placement, and wound care required
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms essential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
