Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical-surgical unit
• Proficient in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to established protocols
• Document patient status, care delivered, and progress notes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, post-hospitalization care, and discharge plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and escalate care as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment in line with facility standards
