Here, you’ll work in a 36-bed MedSurg/Tele unit focused on high-acuity cases—joining a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork, open communication, and continual learning. This setting is perfect for nurses eager to broaden their experience with post-op neuro and spine care, advanced cardiac interventions, and diverse patient populations. Exposure to different clinical practices and leadership styles will not only expand your skill set but add valuable depth to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Weekend rotation: every other
- Holiday scheduling: 75% of holidays; up to 6 days RTO possible
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
Qualifications:
- Active RN license and at least 2 years recent MedSurg/Tele RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, advanced drain/tube management, and medication gtt management (including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products)
- Confident in post-op neuro/spine care, patient/family education, and acute/chronic pain management
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized care to complex stroke, spinal, and neuro patients
- Monitor and respond to telemetric data; no monitoring tech support
- Collaborate with resource RNs, CNAs, and hospitalists
- Participate in rapid regional floating within your scope as needed
- Uphold best practices for CAUTI, HAPI, falls, and CLABSI prevention
