Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Concord, NC

This opportunity includes working across multiple Med-Surg and Med-Tele units. With a focus on decompressing high-traffic areas like the emergency department, you’ll provide critical care to adults and geriatric populations, expanding your clinical expertise in a teaching hospital recognized for trauma, chest pain, and stroke care. Gain professional growth by adapting to unit variations and collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team—including hospitalists, CNAs, RTs, and experienced resource nurses.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
• Rotating weekends (every other)
• Holiday assignments (work 75% of listed holidays)
• Flexible scheduling with a 6-week cycle
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• RN license (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience preferred
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficient with Epic EMR, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and general Med/Tele skillset
• Open to floating across multi-site regions within scope of practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care for diagnoses including CHF, COPD, stroke, injuries, and more
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips, blood products, and medication management
• Collaborate closely with support staff, clinicians, and leadership teams
• Maintain vigilant telemetry monitoring and clinical documentation
