Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, ancillary staff, and patients’ families
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a med-surg unit in accordance with physician orders, facility protocols, and established standards
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing sound clinical judgment
- Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and facility policies
