Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, ancillary staff, and patients’ families
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a med-surg unit in accordance with physician orders, facility protocols, and established standards
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing sound clinical judgment
• Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and facility policies
