Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) | Cornelius, North Carolina

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and ensure high standards of patient assessment, care planning, and intervention.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts available: 5.25 and 12-hour night blocks

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid RN license with good standing
• Prior experience in a Med Surg or MS setting
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Ability to document effectively using electronic health record systems
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment that promotes healing and patient well-being
• Respond effectively to emergencies or rapidly changing patient situations
