Schedule:

  • 3x12-hour night shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Competency with assessment, planning, and documentation on Med-Surg units
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Current BLS certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to diverse adult patient populations
  • Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions and responses to interventions
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments for optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
  • Maintain compliance with unit policies, infection control procedures, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Support workflow of the Med-Surg unit, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
