Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Cortland, NY

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour night shifts each week

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• At least one year recent experience in a Med-Surg setting
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse adult patients with varying medical and surgical conditions
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and vital signs accurately
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, care, and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with infection control guidelines and safety policies
