Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Cottondale, AL

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)
• Proficient clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong ability to communicate with patients, families, and clinical colleagues
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage patient caseloads efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Monitor patient progress, report changes in condition, and update documentation timely
• Assist with therapies and interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care
