Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Daleville, AL

Healthcare professionals with a background in nursing—specifically RN-MS—are needed for a contract assignment supporting a busy medical-surgical unit. This position places you at the heart of fast-paced acute care, focusing on providing exceptional, compassionate support to patients during a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum credentials: BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience working with Cerner electronic medical records
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Seeking candidates with a permanent address located at least 50 miles from the facility
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding rapidly to changes
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and provide wound care as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate ongoing patient care
• Document all patient information accurately in the Cerner EMR system
• Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and ongoing health management
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to all facility protocols and standards
