Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position requiring flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs and seasonal caseloads.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current and valid RN license in the state (or compact eligible).
- Minimum of one year recent experience as a Medical-Surgical (MS) nurse.
- BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new electronic medical record systems and facility protocols.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and care interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare plans and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain and evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and troubleshoot as needed.
