Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Delton, MI

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in a medical-surgical unit and med-surg nursing
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced settings and changing patient needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
• Experience with EHR systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to diverse adult patient populations in a med-surg setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient conditions
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, support staff, and allied health professionals
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in electronic health systems
• Uphold infection control, safety measures, and best practice protocols
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
