Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a medical-surgical unit
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs
  • Current BLS certification (other certifications preferred as applicable)
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, evidenced-based, patient-focused nursing care
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for medical-surgical patients
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop individualized patient care plans
  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, therapies, and discharge planning
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in urgent or emergent situations
