Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Elmira, New York

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to provide exceptional patient care on a contract basis. Location: Elmira, NY

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour night shifts

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care plans
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Document patient information accurately and timely

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with a concentration in Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Proven experience in hospital settings specializing in medical-surgical care
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities during assigned shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
