Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit is required
  • Skilled in caring for adult patients with trauma, orthopedic, and neurosurgical needs
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, zero-harm priorities, and evidence-based care
  • Collaborative team player who values proactive communication and interdisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to adult inpatients on a medical-surgical unit, with a focus on trauma, neuro, and orthopedic populations
  • Participate in bedside hand-offs and proactive rounding to enhance care and patient satisfaction
  • Implement and monitor effective pain management strategies
  • Monitor patient status, assess for complications, and respond rapidly to changes in condition
  • Adhere to stringent safety protocols and quality standards
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and the healthcare team
