Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) setting
• Prior work in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry unit strongly preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records and strong clinical assessment skills
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-acuity settings

Schedule and Expectations:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Monitor and assess cardiac stepdown patients, responding promptly to any changes
• Administer medications, implement interventions, and perform necessary treatments
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, cardiac procedures, and ongoing recovery
• Accurately document assessments and care provided, in line with organizational standards
• Support patient transitions to higher or lower levels of care as needed
