Registered Nurse Med Surg | Erie, Pennsylvania

Seeking a skilled registered nurse with med-surg expertise for a contract assignment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make an impact by supporting patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (med-surg) setting
• Proficient with medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and patient education
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and implement appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
• Document all care, observations, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Support patients and families by providing information, education, and emotional support
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times

$2,105 - $2,227/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
