Registered Nurse Med Surg | Erie, Pennsylvania

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing to deliver outstanding patient-centered care. In this contract role, your expertise will support a diverse patient population in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and efficiently
• Monitor, document, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality is upheld at all times
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical competence

$2,105 - $2,227/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
