Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, variable shifts based on facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of Med Surg patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other care professionals
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform wound care in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective, holistic patient care and timely discharge planning
• Accurately document patient observations, interventions, and progress
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, care routines, and post-discharge instructions
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
