Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Evanston, IL

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Bi-weekly pay schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in stroke/neuro units
• Preferably 3 years' overall experience in similar roles
• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Passing EKG test required at time of submission
• Flexibility to float to like units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical/telemetry patients with a focus on stroke/neuro
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments and varying unit needs
• Collaborate on evidence-based practice initiatives and participate in required orientation/training
