As a travel nurse specializing in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS TELE) unit with a focus on stroke and neuro care, you’ll collaborate alongside dedicated professionals who utilize a variety of workplace practices and leadership approaches. The exposure to multiple units—thanks to floating requirements—ensures you’ll continue learning and adapting, making every shift dynamic and impactful.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 12 hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to similar units as needed
• Holidays as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent stroke/neuro nursing experience (3 years preferred)
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Successful completion of EKG test (documentation required upon submission)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical needs in a telemetry unit
• Accurately assess, plan, and implement care in tandem with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt quickly when floating to other units to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation program (24-32 hours)
