Registered Nurse Med Surg | Fairview, Pennsylvania

Deliver exceptional patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse. This contract role requires dynamic, compassionate professionals ready to make a difference in patient outcomes and hospital workflows.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical-surgical setting
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure environments
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Proficient in EMR charting and basic computer skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and implement care plans for diverse adult patient populations in the Med-Surg unit
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and carry out physician orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and family members to promote optimal care
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress, reporting significant changes or critical incidents promptly
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and at-home care needs
• Uphold infection control protocols and hospital safety standards
• Document observations, interventions, and outcomes clearly and completely
