Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible travel contract
- 24/7 respiratory therapy and intensivist coverage
- Orientation includes a multi-day welcome and department-specific training
- Floating within the local region, with seamless paid transitions between nearby sites as needed
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Tele RN experience
- Comfortable managing assignment ratios up to 1:7-8 during surges
- At least 6 months' experience with EPIC EMR (please detail on application)
- Strong skills with Cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), IV starts, wound care, blood administration, and general Med/Surg care
- Willingness to float to multiple facilities within the division
- Positive, adaptable attitude and readiness to learn new systems and protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based care for a variety of medical and telemetry patients
- Utilize latest technology and monitoring equipment (Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, Massimo monitors)
- Collaborate with CNAs, RTs, Hospitalists, and more in a team-oriented unit
- Maintain patient records using EPIC
- Participate in unit culture that values teamwork and work-life balance
